Skype announced that it’s bringing group video calls to mobile devices, so you’ll soon be able to talk to 24 of your friends face-to-face.
The feature is to be brought to Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows 10 Mobile in the coming weeks. It’s unclear if this means that both Android phones and tablets will be catered for or just phones.
This announcement comes just weeks after rumours of a WhatsApp video calling service started circulating. WhatsApp’s service will focus on one-to-one chats.
Skype hasn’t set a concrete release date just yet, but you can enter your details into its system so it can set you up with video calling on your mobile. Once everything is set up, Skype will send you an e-mail.
