Whatsapp went without of internet again just hours before new year's eve

Whatsapp one of the most popular instant messaging service went down without of internet for several hours, just beforehand of new years eve.


WhatsApp has suffered an outage, leaving users unable to send or receive messages as New Year approached.

The mobile messaging application reportedly began experiencing issues with its service in parts of Europe after it went down shortly after 4.30pm.


There was no news of the outage on the company's official Twitter accounts or Facebook page but a WhatsApp spokesperson confirmed to Reuters there had been issues with the service but work was being done to restore services.


The spokesperson said: "Some people have had trouble accessing WhatsApp for a short period today, we're working to restore service back to 100% for everyone."
