Samsung Galaxy TabPro S release date: Device now available in Europe

The new Samsung Galaxy TabPro S, which was first unveiled as a 12-inch premium grade tablet that runs on Microsoft's Windows 10 back at the Consumer Electronics Show in January this year, is now available throughout Europe via Samsung's official online store as well as third party online retailers such as Amazon.

The official Samsung store in the Netherlands is currently offering the device for sale. Amazon UK as well as Amazon DE have a listing for the device, too.

The Galaxy TabPro S is available in different variants, each according to the amount of SSD storage it has, if it has an LTE support or not, and the version of Windows 10 that it boots on.

The Wi-Fi variant that boots on Windows 10 Home Edition is available for a price of €999. The same variant that runs on the Windows 10 Pro Edition, on the other hand, is available for €1,098. The LTE version is available for an additional €100.

Samsung UK, on the other hand, is offering the TabPro S for pre-order for a price of £849.00, with free shipping expected to start on March 16. Amazon UK is selling the device right now.

The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S will ship with a keyboard in a retail box, and with an additional touchpad and a flexible hinge for it.

"Galaxy TabPro S balances the best of Samsung's Galaxy Tab with the wealth of features on the Windows 10 operating system for the most advanced tablet experience on the market," said Dongjin Ko, President and Head of Mobile Communications Business at Samsung Electronics during the launch of the device. "We're thrilled to be working with Microsoft Corp. to deliver a 2-in-1 tablet that truly allows people to enjoy productivity and connections that matter most, through a seamless mobile station designed for all purposes."
