The Apple iPhone SE has renewed interest in smaller handsets, but it’s not alone in targeting this market. Xiaomi is reportedly working on a 4.3-inch handset that will go toe-to-toe with the iPhone SE.
The Xiaomi handset, tipped to be the Mi 5 mini, is said to feature a 1,280x720 pixel, 4.3-inch display, a Snapdragon 820 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 13MP camera.
For the sake of comparison, Apple’s iPhone SE clocks in at 4-inches, has a 1,136x640 pixel screen, Apple’s A9 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a 12MP camera.
The new Xiaomi phone will cost around $276, according to GizChina. The only proof of this new phone however is a blurry photo, so don’t get too excited about this possible handset just yet.
